Local Chapters

There are several localized Blackhorse Association Chapters. Localized chapters are principally organized for purposes of social gatherings of Blackhorse friends.

Since chapters are under the corporate umbrella of The Blackhorse Association, Inc., there are some organizational and reporting requirements associated with formally establishing a chapter. The principal requirement is that chapters must abide by the by-laws of the association so as not to put at risk the association’s status as a 501(c)3 non-profit, charitable organization with its statutory regulator, The Internal Revenue Service.

Chapters do not have statutory authority as a 501(c)3 non-profit, charitable organization. All management, financial and legal authority associated with The Blackhorse Association, Inc.’s 501(c)3 status is reserved to the national association as administered by their duly elected Officers and Directors.
