Dying Trooper – Urgent Request

The following note comes from the Regimental Adjutant, Captain Anthony A. Bradley-Peoples Sr.

Gentlemen,

The Regiment received the below message from the spouse of a terminally ill Trooper. I’ve spoken with her and she states that due to her husband’s health, reaching out to the Blackhorse Regiment was her last resort at attempting to bring him (Dan), some form of comfort. Her correspondence, along with his name and address, are below if you wish to send a note also.

My husband Dan (aka Flash) was part of the 11th ACR, M Company, during the Vietnam War (1966-67). Due to Agent Orange, he is terminally ill with lung cancer. I am wondering if his fellow 11th ACR Blackhorse brothers and sisters would be willing to send Dan a note or card to help brighten his days. There is little he is able to do anymore and I am hoping this will bring him some comfort. He is suffering so. If you would, please send your cards to:

God Bless you all and thank you for your service.

On behalf of the Blackhorse Association, please take the time to drop Dan a note of support and thanks for his service in the Regiment and to the Nation.
