The Blackhorse Association is excited to announce five upcoming mini-reunions that will be held in 2023. These mini-reunions are great opportunities to reconnect with friends and fellow troopers who are enthusiastic about all things related to the Blackhorse.
We expect additional mini-reunions to be announced in the upcoming weeks, and we’ll be sure to communicate this to the association’s members in our E-News and on our website.

This is the very first annual Central Mini-Reunion BBQ at Blackhorse Stables, which is a 46-acre property owned by Scott Harrison. Plenty of parking, 11-mile reservoir, and fishing are nearby; or you can just sit back on the deck with an adult beverage and enjoy the view of the Continental Divide. RV sump connection is available.
We’ll need a good headcount to plan for food and beverages. Feel free to arrive early and enjoy the area.

Southwest Region Mini-Reunion ‒ Florida

All current and former Blackhorse Troopers and guests are invited to attend a mini- reunion in Ormond Beach, Florida. This is a pay-as-you-go event with no registration fees or other charges.
Tentative Location: Choice Hotels at 386-944-1500.

All evening activities are onsite at the hotel. No driving is required.
Friday night social will be at Saints & Sinners located at the north side of the hotel. There is no official start time for this gathering. We will assemble as we settle in the hotel. By 5 to 6 p.m., most of us should be there. There will be live music, drinks, and food available. Look for the Blackhorse flag.
Saturday night dinner and other activities are at Colt’s Pig Stand.
We have some interesting items again this year.
The annual “John Paintman Clark Memorial Ride” will be on Saturday. Meet in hotel parking lot at 9:30 a.m. Kickstands up 10 a.m.
We have a group tour of NASA scheduled for Saturday for up to 30 people. We are looking for your input on transportation from the hotel to NASA. Three options are to drive yourself, rent a few vans, or hire a bus. Cost of transportation would be shared by the participants.
There are also many other options for things to do in the area; these include golfing, beaches, and shopping.
