2020 Reunion Cancellation
Based on the Coronavirus risk, the Association’s board has decided to cancel the 2020 Blackhorse Family Reunion. As such, the next formal reunion will be the 2021 Blackhorse Family reunion, in San Antonio, Texas from June 2, 2021 to June 5, 2021. More information on the 2021 reunion will be released in the coming months.
Central Region Mini-Reunion
For those interested in attending a reunion in Colorado Springs (same time and same place as the original annual reunion), the Reunion Director has negotiated with Elegante and AFR to have the reunion repurposed as a “mini-reunion.” This essentially means that the gathering is informal and does not include any formal meetings or activities or senior leadership.
The registration and reservation links at www.blackhorse.org/reunions will remain active until the cut-off date. At the mini-reunion, they’ll have the Blackhorse Store and Silent Auction. In addition, other activities will include tours, golf, hospitality, meals, and a motorcycle ride.
As of March 15, 2020, we have 91 attendees but expect that number to drop as a result of the announcement to cancel the annual reunion. It is also expected that others will delay registration/reservations until the coronavirus situation has receded. For members and guests who are free of illness and interested in attending the mini-reunion, please make your registration and reservation as soon as possible.
For those deciding against attending the mini-reunion in Colorado Springs June 3-6, 2020 and if you have previously made reservations and registrations for the event, you can cancel your reservations and registrations as follows:
