Michael Petito

| Michael Petito was born September 10, 1952 to Rocco and Olga (Foriss) Petito in Monticello, NY. He passed away November 19, 2014 in Colorado Springs. Mike is survived by his wife, Lynette Foxe of Fountain; his sister, Roxanne (Guilio) Mesiti; his niece, Amie (William) Lemiux, their son, Jesse and his daughter, Xenia; his niece, January (Joshua) Rodriguez; his nephew, Anthony Mesiti, and his son, Guilio, all of New York and New Jersey. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Rocky Petito. Mike moved to Colorado Springs in 1975 settling in Fountain where he worked as an Electric Control Specialist with Colorado Springs Utilities for 33 years. Mike served in the United Sates Army in Vietnam in the 11th Armored Calvary Regiment as a Ground Surveillance Radar Technician. Mike was a member of VFW Post 6461 and also American Legion Post 38. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 6, at VFW Post 6461, 753 S. Santa Fe Ave., Fountain. |
